Getting Around the Coronavirus Quarantine: Man Sings to Wife through Nursing Home Window

By Craig Huey

One of the horrific consequences of the Coronavirus outbreak and subsequent quarantine procedures is that nursing homes will no longer allow patients to have visitors.

Loved ones can’t encourage, pray for, or talk to their loved ones except on the phone – if the patients can answer the phone.

My wife and I can’t visit my 96-year-old aunt any longer in her nursing home. But despite that restriction, we are able to sing and talk to her through her window because her room is on the 1st floor.

We got this idea from a man in Alabama whose wife is suffering from Alzheimer’s and is bedridden in a nursing home. And he can’t visit her in her room.

But he was able to figure out how to sing to her from outside the nursing home through her window.

Videos of him singing to his wife have gone viral worldwide. People everywhere are watching him … not only because of his love for his wife, but also because of his testimony of his love for God.

Here are just two of the many versions of him singing that even the secular press has been showing.
