Kirk Cameron and Candace Cameron Bure, both high profile Christian actors, have released a new video to discuss how to keep Christian values in their children despite today’s culture.
The actors, along with their two sisters, Bridgette and Melissa Cameron, teamed up to help Christian parents navigate an increasingly secular world.
Titles Raising Kids in Today’s World, which can be seen below, the Cameron family have used their knowledge and skills in raising their own children to be able to share their experiences.
According to Movieguide, the siblings spoke about the importance of listening to your parents. “I want to pass on to my children… it would be to really trust your mom and dad and God, who know you and love you, said Melissa.”
“Think of how many more voices are in our kids’ ears, through their phone with social media, how important it is to have a trusted voice, Kirk said in agreement.”
The siblings, who have raised their children and many have now left home, also talked about the varying choices thy have made when it comes to using traditional schooling versus home schooling. Melissa said she and her husband made the decision to homeschool their children, allowing the family to spent more time together.
Kirk Cameron recently spoke at the annual March for Life rally in Washington, where tens of thousands of pro-life supporters braved the cold to march for the unborn.
